Beaches & Rights of Way (ROWs)

SPRING 2024 NEWS:
May 4 Spring Cleanup at Beaches & ROWs

Please join us for our spring cleanup to get the beaches and right-of-ways ready for the summer season!  Because our great volunteers did such a thorough job with the fall cleanup (and some raking over the past month), we just have three areas to focus on for our cleanup.  Volunteers should meet at one of the following locations at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4:
* Cove ROW – remove leaves on shore and in the water
* Lollipop Beach – remove leaves at shore in beach area on left and at boat launch; smooth out ruts in sand in beach area with garden rake
* Ryan Terrace – move sand that has washed out of beach area and into water, and put it back on shore (note: you’ll need to step into the water for this one!)

Please bring rakes, shovels (for Ryan Terrace), gloves, and wear appropriate footgear.  Hope to see you 10 a.m. on May 4!  No rain date is scheduled.

Amston Lake is a private 188-acre lake located in the towns of Hebron and Lebanon, CT. The lake and its District properties are for the use of Amston Lake District residents ONLY.
